What follows is a collection of poems I’ve written over the past few years. Poetry is one of my favorite forms of self expression, and these are some of my best recent works.

A Forgery of Ferns (2022)
Where the dew never dies In the forest there lies A place where the sacred things stay. Where the sun’s filtered light Glows so gentle and bright Through the hours of short everyday. Where the light breeze whispers it’s lonesome fall song And slowly and sadly the ferns dance along Where the frost, ever restless, takes to it’s place Leading it’s winter’s cold and brisk pace Where the flowering trees Cast their ballot of leaves, Where the summer sun shines a cool green. Where the dew never dies In the forest there lies A forgery for this scene.
Keeping composer
Composing is a fun pastime I engage in regularly, and although I have received almost no composition instruction, and have only learned the theory necessary to play basic flute and piano, I love to tinker with composition apps like MuseScore. What follows is a collection of these amateur experiments.
Pernodian National Anthem (2021)
This song invites you to step into the triumphant culture of the newly minted empire of Pernodia, a prosperous, budding nation led by a social studies teacher and group of elite student royals. The common people? Also students. This new empire is still looking to be recognized as a country by two established countries, but until then, here’s the national anthem I composed for it as a founding member, Duke, and cultural curator of this great mockery of imperialism.
